Radical birthkeeping is an approach to childbirth that focuses on supporting individuals in reclaiming their birth experiences in a way that emphasizes autonomy, empowerment, and the rejection of traditional, often medicalized, birth models. It involves challenging the mainstream narratives around pregnancy and birth, promoting a more holistic, personal, and community-centered approach.

If this isn’t something you’re ready for, these ideas may make you feel uncomfortable and it’s not for everyone. However, it’s important for you to know that this is my approach to birth.

That said, no matter how you may choose to birth, in the hospital with an OBGYN, at home with a midwife, or next to a river with just your husband, I am not here to judge you. As my teacher says, it is not my privilege to know the destiny of another human being. Your walk is your walk. And I am honored to be by your side if you want me there.

Birthwork is near and deer to my heart and I do not take it lightly. However, I don’t think I’m the right birthkeeper for everyone, so I don’t offer packages and pricing on my website.
