Becoming a mother is a sacred right of passage. When a baby is born, so is a mother. According to Ayurveda, how a mama heals within the first 42 days of giving birth will dictate her health for the next 42 years of her life. It’s important for mama to be nourished during this sacred 42 day window. She is just as vulnerable as her new born baby. Medicine Mother Ayurvedic Postpartum Care is here for you during your most sacred time of healing. Ayurvedic Postpartum Care focuses on 4 pillars of health:

  • Rest

  • Nourishment

  • Herbs

  • Massage

What our days will look like together:

I will come in quietly and check in to see how you’re doing and what you might need that day. I’ll provide you with nourishing lactation teas and begin cooking your breakfast while you rest and bond with your baby.

I’ll prepare you warm herbal oils and teach you how to give yourself a nourishing, Ayurvedic massage to help your body heal and relax followed by a belly bind.

Once you’re oiled and warmed, you and baby can relax and nap. While you do that, lunch or a yummy snack will be in the works! I can draw you an herbal bath at the end of the day or leave you with the bath tincture so you have it when you’re ready to help heal the womb. There will be prepped food in your fridge with preparation notes for your partner/support person. I will also leave your support person with weekly food shopping lists. I’ll leave your home cleaner than I found it and I will be there to lend a compassionate ear if you should need.

If you choose, I can come to the hospital or your home immediately post birth to help with healing, or we can meet a few days after when you feel settled.

You will also receive 1 in home sessions with me before the baby comes to make sure your kitchen is fully stocked with the ayurvedic supplies we will need!

Medicine Mother Platinum Package

20 days of care (visits are 3-5 hours long depending on what mama needs that day)

4 consecutive days the first and second weeks

3 consecutive days during weeks 3-6.

Exchange: $5,500 ($275 per day)

Medicine Mother Gold Package

12 days of care (visits are 3-5 hours long depending on what mama needs that day)

3 days a week for 4 weeks

Exchange: $3,600 ($300 per day)

Medicine Mother Silver Package

6 days of care (visits are 3-5 hours long depending on what mama needs that day)

3 days a week for 2 weeks

Exchange: $2,000 ($333 per day)

You will be given updated shopping lists every week with specific foods to buy that are so important for your healing! We can work together to get you prepped on all of your dry stock before baby comes. If necessary, I’m happy to do some weekly shopping for fresh produce for you and can be reimbursed after shopping or i can help you set up your Instacart!
